Yoga for What Ails You

First of all, yoga might not be the cure-all for all people. Before doing yoga, please consult with your doctor. Next, if you do have something that might limit your range of movement, or if you are healing from an injury/surgery, it is not advisable to do any group exercise.  It is best to work individually with an instructor so that you are not tempted to overdo it.

I  trained with Joseph LePage of Integrative Yoga Therapy.  I have also studied with Makunda Stiles (Structural Yoga Therapy) and Dr. Jeff Migdow, the holistic doctor of Kripalu Yoga and Health Institute.  My specialty is helping people use yoga to gain some relief from  aches and pains.  This involves setting them up with props that will support them in the yoga poses so that the joints aren't strained. A  private session or two is highly recommended before taking any group classes.
